Conrad and Hedwig. Triggered (more or less) by the prompt from the character generator: “Ugly combative prostitute, who may or may not be a Viking”. I mean. Conrad’s not ugly, but the rest of it? Conrad in a nutshell, including the debatable Viking descent. And he’s never very far from Hedwig. This is starting to look more like a story I can tell myself.
